DARJEELING - Puttabong

Darjeeling puttabong is a second flush black tea plucked from the Himalayan mountains of India. The pure mountain air, unique soil and altitude at the Puttabong tea estate help to produce some of the finest Darjeeling in the world.

This elegant first flush Darjeeling with its characteristic peach and floral aroma has a delicate body which yields a delightfully fruity flavour profile and a crisp finish.

Tasting notes: A pale yellow liquor,

with a pleasant aroma of peach and green apples. On the palate it is bright with peach notes and a bite that is balanced. 

Temperature: 90 degrees

Brewing instructions: Western method: Approx. 1-2 scoops or 2-3 grams for every 150ml of water for a 2-3 minute infusion

Pair with: Carrot cake, Macaroons, Delicate pastries, Smoked salmon, Light creamy cheese like goat's cheese.
