This is the least processed of all teas and usually comprises of the bud only or bud and on to two leaf. The tea is picked and allowed to wither naturally. Normally the bud has a soft downy texture resulting in a clean, delicate liquor with soft fruits and floral notes, but when allowed to age and mature will develop more notes of honey and malt. A true treasure.
