Keemun Black Snail is the most exquisite version of China's famous Imperial Keemun. This artisan red tea is handcrafted tea from spring plucked leaves of the Chu Ye Zhong Cultivar. The dry leaves have been tightly rolled into a beautiful spiral snail shape which are dark in colour.
Keemun black snail is velvety smooth with notes of cocoa, caramel, dried apricot, and a hint of spice.
It makes for a wonderfully complex tea full of layers and nuances.

Origin: Qimen County, Huangshan, Anhui
Tasting notes: An orange to amber liquor, smooth texture with a complex yet unique bouquet of cocoa, caramel, dried apricot, and a hint of spice.
Temperature: 90-95 degrees
Brewing instructions: Western method: Approx. 1-2 scoops or 2-3 grams for every 150ml of water for a 2-3 minute infusion
Gong fu method; 2-3 scoops or 5 grams for every 150ml of water. First infusion 20-30 seconds and then 40-50 seconds for up to 6 infusions.
Pair with: lightly salted foods, fruit, milk or white chocolate, cured meats, hard cheeses.
