Organic Matcha

Matcha is traditionally used as part of Japanese tea ceremonies. Zen Buddhist monks have been reaping its many benefits for energy, concentration, and wellness long before it's recent revival. Despite the many health benefits and medicinal uses, this brew is as simple as they come consisting of only pure green tea leaves stone ground into a fine powder. Our Matcha is a full-bodied, invigorating tea with intense flavour. When whisked with water it gives off an initial light astringent taste, followed by a lingering sweetness and creaminess.

Matcha brewing method: Add water and 1.8g/2 scoops Matcha powder to cup or matcha bowl and whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion until the tea is frothy.

Temperature: 75-80 degrees

Pair with: Japanese cuisine, seafood, rice dishes, milk chocolate, white chocolate
