Arakai Estate Premium Green - Spring Flush

Grown in Belthorp, Queensland, this multi-award-winning, premium green tea is derived from the Yabukita & Sayamakaori cultivars. Harvested during the Spring, harvest the leaves are then processed using Taiwanese methods, resulting in a uniquely sweet tea with floral top notes similar to a high mountain oolong and delicate vegetable notes, leaving a fullness in the mouth.

Cultivar: Yabukita & Sayamakaori 

Origin: Belthorpe, QLD, Australia

Tasting notes: A pale yellow liquor, elegant bouquet, delicate sweet vegetable notes. Tastes of buttered steamed vegetables, slight taste of bamboo with a lingering sweetness tail notes of nuts. 

Temperature: 80 degrees

Brewing instructions: Western method: Approx. 1-2 scoops or 3 grams for every 150ml of water for a 2-minute infusion

Gong fu method; 2-3 scoops or 5 grams for every 150ml of water. First infusion 20-30 seconds and then 40-50 seconds for up to 6 infusions.

Pair with: White meats, fish vegetables, salty snacks, pastries.
